We are sorry to inform you that the Father and Son weekend at Taaibosch is cancelled due to a lack of signups. It is unfortunate that the event was advertised at such a late stage. We at TNE are disappointed that this event cannot go ahead this Saturday. Any payments will be refunded. Please send your account details to admin@truenorth.org.za for this process. TNE Staff would like to invite you to a Father & Son Camp on Saturday the 9th April for a fun packed camp at Taaibosch.
REGISTRATION CLOSES THURSDAY MIDNIGHT!
Taaibosch
Taaibosch is situated on the Phisantekraal Farm about 200m just outside of Durbanville on Adderley Road. Close enough to town for a quick get-away, but far enough to not know it’s there.
The grounds themselves are extensive and the site gently slopes down towards the dam where you would be more than welcome to fish (catch & release).
Taaibosch consists of 8 dorms, in which we can sleep up to 20 persons taking social distancing into account.
You are also more than welcome to bring along your tent and put it in a space provided.
This includes all activities, lunch & continental breakfast, tea & coffee

- 8:30 – 9am Sign in & registration
- 9 – 12noon Activities
- 12 – 1pm Lunch _ Provided
- 1 – 4pm Activities
- 4 – 6pm Free time
- 6pm Start the fires _ Bring your own meat, sides & wood
Sunday Morning 10th April 2022
- 7:30am Continental Breakfast _ Provided
- 10:00am Camp site closes
Swimming in the dam is welcome and done at your own risk. Water activities are welcome, but no engines are allowed on the dam.
Fishing is strictly catch & release
Hiking trails are marked out
Bike riding is welcome along riding routes
BB gun area available
Sit back and enjoy the great outdoors
